• Reason: Replacement construction of the bridge
• Details: The road will only be accessible from both directions up to the bridge. Depending on the construction work, there may also be parking and stopping restrictions. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be built. Until this is completed, pedestrian traffic will be routed alternately over the bridge to be replaced.

Gerbergasse

• Details: The sidewalk along the building Am Anger 15 remains usable. The sidewalks from the direction of Saalbahnhofstraße will be closed. The parking lot and underground car park Am Anger 13/15 and Lutherplatz 3 can be reached via the road on the east side of Am Anger 15. Parking spaces to the west of the construction site and in the inner courtyard at Saalbahnhofstraße 6 cannot be used during the construction period. The parking lot to the south, where construction containers will be set up, will also be inaccessible during the construction period.

Friedrich-Engels-Straße

Grenzstraße

Church square

• Reason: extensive construction work
• Details: Access to the town church and the stores will be guaranteed during the entire construction period. From 05.05.2025, signs from the direction of Saalstraße and Höhe Oberbank will indicate this separately. Saalstraße will continue to be fully closed to transit/delivery traffic. Leveling work is currently being carried out in front of the town church to prepare the sidewalk and archaeological excavations are progressing behind the town church.

Lessingstrasse

• Location: between Fröbelstieg and Max-Wien-Platz

• Details: The construction site can be bypassed via Helmholtzweg.

Löbdergraben

• Type: Closure on one side
• Location: between Paradiesstraße and Ludwig-Weimar-Gasse

• Reason: Reconstruction work at the "Löbdergraben" stop
• Details: In the above-mentioned area, a one-way street regulation applies in the direction of Holzmarkt. At the Löbdergraben junction at the level of the Roter Turm, it is only possible to turn right in the direction of Stadtrodaer Straße.
• Replacement stops will be set up in Löbdergraben from 12 to 23.05.2025.

Lützowstraße

• Reason: Connection of a transformer station
• Details: Traffic will be regulated as a one-way system: The exit from Lichtenhain is via Wildenbruchstraße, the entrance via Ammerbacher Oberweg. The detour route has no weight restrictions and is therefore also open to HGV traffic.

Lutherstraße

• Duration: until 30.07.2025
• Reason: Civil engineering works + material deposits
• Details: Out of town, the half-sided closure can be bypassed. Inbound traffic will be diverted via Herderstraße / Sickingenstraße. The closure can also be bypassed via Erfurter Straße.

Moritz-von-Rohr-Straße

• Location: Corner of Lichtenhainer Straße
• Duration: until 25.07.2025
• Reason: District heating installation
• Details: Traffic will be diverted via Carl-Zeiss-Promenade and Lichtenhainer Straße. Resident traffic is permitted up to the construction site.

Mühlenstraße / Lützowstraße

• Reason: Civil engineering works
• Details: The detour leads via Lichtenhainer Oberweg. A mobile traffic light regulates the traffic.

Ritzetal and Berthold-Delbrück-Straße

• Reason: Work on the supply and disposal lines
• Details: The detour is via Am Steinborn and Eugen-Diederich-Straße. Bus traffic will also be diverted via Am Steinborn and Löbichauer Straße.

Semmelweisstrasse

Schroeterstraße

Wiesenstraße, traffic circle

• Duration: until 29.11.2025
• Reason: fundamental redesign
• Details: Access to Kunitz and the adjacent industrial estate is only possible via Brückenstraße, but not via Wiesenstraße. A wide detour is signposted via Am Anger - Dornburger Straße - Camburger Straße. An emergency footpath to Kunitz and in the direction of Naumburger Straße leads past the roadworks.

• Duration: 12.05. to 13.06.2025
• Reason: Asphalt work incl. setting kerbs
• Details: A large part of the work can be carried out with half-side closures, whereby accessibility for residents is guaranteed at all times. The new asphalt surface course will be laid in sections with full road closures in two construction phases. By dividing the construction phases at the level of the wholesale food market, access to the market will be guaranteed throughout the entire construction period. Residents to the south of the construction site can reach their properties via Löbstedter Straße, while properties to the north can be accessed via parts of the new traffic circle on Brückenstraße. Once the renovation work is complete, Wiesenstraße will be reopened to out-of-town traffic in the direction of Kunitz.
